The rain fell in buckets, the thunder rumbling as if there were giants dumping big tubs of water onto the earth from the sky, pounding their huge feet onto the clouds and vibrating the earth. The grass was damp and the mud was wet and soggy, and there was no sun in sight. But a storm didn’t stop me from looking prettier than anyone else on campus- super-cute gray knit sweater, dark skinny jeans and tall, beige fall boots. My platinum blond hair was in a neat, gorgeous fishtail braid and my waterproof makeup was foolproof and stunningly flawless. There was almost no one on campus as I hurried swiftly across the marble pathways to reach the Media Center. I had texted my boyfriend, Jacob, to meet me there for a study date and was still waiting for a response. My phone kept beeping, because I was so popular, with unwanted texts like, “Hey Sammie, want to hang out?” and such. I needed a lazy day with the BF to calm my nerves, and then get back on track for homecoming queen.

I got Sammie's text once I got out of the shower. I smiled. Sure, see you there (:. I changed into a button down black sweater and jeans. After slipping into sneakers, I grabbed my messanger bag and walked out the door. After practically sprinting to the Media Center, I took off my dripping rain coat. "Hey Jake." A brunette came up to me. "I hear you're running for homecoming king. I'll vote for you." She said, stroking my arm. I politely shook her off. "Excuse me." I said, looking for Sammie. When I saw her, I smiled. I walked up to her and kissed her. "Hey you." I said, sitting down next to her.
Sammie grinned. She kissed him softly. "Hey, babe." She said, and shot an icy glare at the girl who had stroked his arm. She cowered and sprinted off at my gaze. I snuggled in next to Jacob, leaning my head onto his strong shoulder.

I smiled as she settled into my arm. With my other arm, I casually flipped through the pages of my bio book. "You look gorgeous babe." I say, looking at her and winking. It was a flirty gesture. I wanted more, so I leaned in and kissed her, putting my hand on the back of her head, holding her to me.
Sammie grinned, blushing but hiding it. She knew she didn't need to make Jocob love her- he already did. He was her best friend and she loved him so much. She kissed him back softly, putting her head to his chest. She tucked her knees up to her chest. She shivered- the media centre was cool this early, and she hadn't brought a jacket.

Noticing she was cold, I politely draped my hoodie over her shoulders. Pulling her closer, I stared at the crackling fire. "So, how was your day?" I asked, clicking my pen to answer a math question. I looked back at her for an answer, my green eyes interested.

I rolled my eyes. "So much homework. Between football and Rango, I've had no time." I say, burying my head into her hair, grinning. "But I have enough time to spend the day with my favorite girlfriend." I said jokingly, thinking of my dutch warmblood. I hadn't practiced on him in 3 days, which was forever for me.

I smile and kiss her, still grinning. I wrap my arms around her waist and laugh sexily. "You know you're the most beautiful girl in the world." I growl in her ear. I lean back to see her face, and smile cockily.
