I heard five guys laughing at the Chinese guy's misfortune. I noticed they were glaring at him back because he got to hang out with three hot chicks. "Hey what's your name,I didn't get it." I asked him.

I got up and dusted my clothes off I looked up at the girl and said, "Ken-you Li" I ran one of my hands through my thick slightly messy and slightly not messy hair. I absently started singing a chinese lullaby under breath as I tapped my fingers on my side to the beat of my voice and I tapped my foot to the beat of my fingers. I bent down to retie one of my shoelaces that had come undone when i'd fallen over.
I glanced at my black and white Nike sneakers with their signature white tick one the sides as I stood up and glanced at my dark washed Wrangler jeans paired with my favorite dark green t-shirt with a large pink and white Cherry Blossom on it and my 10 carot silver Ying and Yang pendant necklace it had been a gift from my grandfather.

Violet, pretty uncomfortable with the whole situation, sat back and watched the chaos. In a blur Sammie came up to them and started chatting. A guy in the back got ran over by a herd of jocks, and a couple slutty looking girls were all hanging around him. Half smiling at Rose, Violet mouthed 'Hi' to Sammie. Fiddling with the buttons on her camera, she crossed her legs, waiting for the teacher to come.
I watched a Violet. "Hey." I said to her. I was no longer new,but I still didn't know her. I curved my ankles and let my shoes glimmer in the light. My sky-blue eyes shone in the light and looked around at everyone else. I waited for the teacher and ignored little 8th grader Stephanie.
Sammie knew Vi was the kind of person who didn't like this kind of thing. About six people saying hi, chaos unfolding, it was pretty much heck breaking loose. Sammie rolled her eyes as Vanessa came over. The girl was nice, but this didn't seem to be the time. Sammie decided not to ask for advice like she'd planned to, and turned to sign her name under "Model". She wasn't a great photographer and she'd loved being shot by Vi earlier. She smiled at the thought of her and her bff alone together, she cherished those times, so not hectic and calm. They were rare, but good.
Jesus. Carmela muttered under her breath, looking at the scene in front of her. Her old Polaroid camera still clutched in a death grip, she watched as it seemed that more and more girls were coming up and signing their names as models. At this rate, they might as well change it to a Modeling club or something.
Carmela was darn sure that she certainly wasn't going to take pictures of them, unless it was a grunge and/or Gothic kinda photo shoot. Carmela entertained herself for a few moments, imagining all of the half insane girls in front of her dressed up in heavy dark silk with their entire faces covered by shredded veils or some other bizarre thing that Carmela could think of. She figured they would probably all complain the entire time.
Violet came by her and Carmela gave her a distracted half smile along with a Hey. She wasn't exactly paying any attention to the girls in front of her but she only figured that it was a matter of time before they started fighting with each other over something stupid. It always happened.
Sammie came soon after Violet and it was a surprise (not!) that she also signed up to be a model. Carmela knew that her and Sam were now on good terms but she couldn't help but feel a slight prick of annoyance towards her. Seriously people; Photo Club is not America's Next Top Model. Still, Carmela nodded at Sammie and leaned up against the wall, waiting for something to happen.
NOTES people only wanna be models #awkward

Sammie wanted to get out, so she turned to Carmel and Vi. "You guys want to get out of here?" She asked, smiling slightly. She played with her hair uncomfortably. She knew there was more models than photographers and she was starting to regret her decision to put her name under models. But, unlike some of the others, she'd done a few years of modelling and went to a ten day modelling training center, so she wasn't experienceless.
I heard Sammie. I looked her up and down. My pageants around the U.S gave me experience on modeling. I would do cover-shoots and poses. I enjoyed the spotlight in Hollywood. I loved when my parents came with me and prepped me up for upcoming events. I wouldn't show my trophies to other girls. I thought they would spread the word and make me one of their followers. I didn't want to be a goody-goodie. I was worth than that. I looked around and found that there was ton of people here. I ignored everyone around me and listened to the music in the background. I heard mom on the radio singing. It was her one of old albums, called Express Yourself.
