Now it's time to build up from the bottom of the pit, right to the top
I walked into The Slice, my hair tied back in an adorable side bun. As for clothes, I was wearing a cute blue and white button down polka dotted dress with a pair of grey cable knit tights, a long necklace with a locket, and a pair of white flats with a bow. I smiled. Over the break I had sort of reinvented myself, like a New Years Resolution, and I liked the new me. I was about to order, when I saw Sammie, who usually looked calm and collected, with a distressed look on her face. “Samme?” I asked softly, walking up to her. I wanted to know what was wrong. I knew that someone had probably got on her bad side, but rarely did Sammie ever not have the ability to get back at someone easily. Or maybe it was something serious.

Heather ran into the Slice, having just heard about Sammie's issue. "OMG! Sammie!" Heather shouted and walked through the Slice to Sammie. Heather slid next to her and wrapped her arms around her best friend and spoke. "Sammie... you can't leave. Would your mom let my parents pay your tuition here? I already talked to them, they said that's fine. They'll pay for Midnight too. You can't leave!" Heather's voice shook, and knowing that she was about to cry, looked down and ground her teeth together.
