   As I waited with Jacob for the crowd to go down, I looked around the room. I wasn't exactly sure who to vote for yet. Well, Paige of course! And Ryan, that would be good. But, before I made my decision, I wanted to go through everyone I knew in my head first. Let's see. Just then, I saw Izzy wander up to the table and scribble something down. She dropped her ballot in the box and left. She didn't seem to happy. Maybe she just wasn't into things like Homecoming. She did spend a lot of time riding instead of things like hanging out with friends, so maybe she was so used to riding, she never really had the time to do this stuff. Next, there was Sam. The only problem with picking my fellow YENT members, was that I didn't know a guy for either of them. So, my mind kept saying 'Paige and Ryan'. Thats all I could think of for right now. Finally, Jacob was already writing his down. I grabbed a slip of paper and pen and wrote down Paige and Ryan. Jacob and I dropped our ballots in the box and we smiled at each other. He grabbed my hand and we walked out together. So, who'd you vote for? I asked, turning torward Jacob. Wellll.... he said, a small smile starting to come across his face. I stopped him and looked at him, studying his face. I could sense that something was....different. I hope you don't mind... he continued. But, I voted for your Friend, Izzy, and my friend, Andy. His smile grew wider on his face. I looked up at him for a few more seconds, smiling a little. That was, kinda nice. I would have voted for us, only, I wasn't even sure if you were allowed to do that. Then, I saw Izzy looking kind of upset and thought, you know, maybe she would want to be nominated? OMG, this was SO nice of Jacob to do! This made me even more attracted to him. Jacob, I said. That was so nice of you. I was thinking about voting for Izzy too, only I couldn't think of a guy for her. And, Andy rides too! Jacob nodded at that. And, I saw Izzy seem upset also, but I thought maybe she just wasn't interested in things like this. I said.
Well, who knows, maybe she really just wanted to be nominated. he said. We continued to walk away from the Auditorium. And, as we did, I thought maybe Jacob was right. Maybe Izzy just wanted to be nominated or voted for for once. Izzy probably wouldn't win, but, at least, if she saw her name on the nominations list, she would feel a Little better, right?

i was going to skip homecoming assemblies but tyler was going so i was DEFINETLY going. " i saw izzy and dallas and lexi and sasha ignoring each other. Paige and Sasha hadnt been talking OR hangin out so i new something was up!!!! "hey!" i said to all of them as i passed. I sat next to dallas cuz she was the only one of them i really new. "hey " i said. as tyler sat in between me and mitch. mitch was new and i had introduced them to eachother. BOYS! they dont have any southern hospitality. but i WAS from the south so thats my instincts. "hey, thaly" tyler said and started talking to mitch. i heard them talking about football witch was no suprise because i new tyler and mitch both were in to football. "hi" i said to mitch, "i heard you met piperrr." i said teasingly. and he teasingly grinned staring into space."haha!!"tyler said, "very funny, but were the same way." "i knowww." i said. dallas tapped on my shoulder. "huh?" i asked looking at her.

I walk into the auditorium, my signature entourage trailing close behind, trying to talk to me. Complimenting me like ditzies. I toss my hair. I can feel all of the envious and adoring looks, and I can see boys constantly trying to get my attention. But my hand is linked with my boyfriend's, Brian's hand; signifying that I am taken. Brian is one of the most loved, talked about, popular guys in CC. Obviously he'd have to be, to even be close to "in my league". I look gorgeous in a short, tight jean skirt, brown moccasin-type boots and a red cardigan with a cropped tank. My hair is in an adorable messy bun and my makeup is done to perfection. I sit next to one of the many people beckoning me to sit with them, and start to do what I do best: socialize.

I was out of Orchard with the cutest dress and Chanel boots,and bag on. I was meeting Jacob there. When I was about to take my seat, Jacob spooked me,"BOO!!" I could see his teasing smile and he was LAUGHING!! I hugged him quickly and kissed his cheek."Now we can spend time together at Homecoming!" I said. Jacob said,"I missed you to and now I'm glad to have a second chance with you."He ended his sweet sentence when the principal came in."Good Morning 9th and 8th. For Homecoming you will nominate one girl and boy for Prince and Princesses. Thank You and have a great day!  |
