Sammie's Practice :)

I nodded weakly and said, "Sure, She doesn't like the Oxers very much I was hoping she'd give a clean jump guess I was wrong" I struggled to my feet and swayed slightly before grabbing a hold of the fence line and steadying myself. my shirt had risen up and my back was visible there large welts and bruises along by back from a belt or something. I closed my eyes trying to stop the world from spinning.

I let go of Moondance for a second walking over to her. I see her back. "Oh my god! The fall must have been really bad! I should take you to the nurse... or get cold water?"

[fifa90]

I notice shirt is pulled up and pull it down quickly before saying quickly too quickly "No.No. It's alright those are old they're from the break I took a fall through some really thick thorn bushes"

[sammie]

I nod, not fully convinced. "So, the nurse?"

[fifa90]

I shake my head quickly and say, "Nah their healing already i've seen a doctor they've given me some cream to put on them"

[sammie]

I nod slowly. "Okay. Good" I say, turn, and walk over to moondance, easily sliding into the saddle. She immediately comes to attention under my firm instruction. I easily cue her into a smooth, collected, steady canter. My cues are invisible as I canter around the ring, perfectly at ease. She reacts amazingly under me and as we approach the oxar, I ready her and myself for the jump, using my leg and rein cues. We easily pop over, me getting into two-point in perfect timing and him jumping rythmically to my cues. We land smoothly, and she does a flying lead change at my command. I smile, pat her and then climb off.

I smiled and said, "Wow! you're good! I'll have to remember to keep my leg on next I try doing an Oxer with her"

[sammie]

I nod, smiling in a friendly way. "Yeah. Try to have a firm grip and be tough on her, but don't continuously hit her with your crop."

[fifa90]

I nodded and said, "Yea I have a habit of being soft on her I'm working on being tougher with her though" I patted Moondance's shoulder and mumbled, "Hello pretty girl are going to give me a kiss to make feel better?" Moondance nickered pressed her head into my chest I giggled and wrapped my arms around her neck and said, "There's my girl" I rubbed her neck gently and grinned.

I smiled. They had a great bond, and obviously Moondance could be a great horse if she was ridden well. I grab my amazing Midnight's reins, patting her neck and kissing her nose. "Well, I'll see you around. Have fun" I smile warmly at her, waving. "And by the way, I'm in orchard." I tell her before turning and leaving the arena.

I smile and say, "Ok and thanks for the help and i'm in Orchard too! maybe we're roommates I don't know who my roommate is yet" I swing myself into Moondance's saddle and readjust the the stirrups so they fit and pick up the reins.

I hear the girls talk as I pass, going to untack

[sammie]

"No problem" I say, waving before leaving and heading back to the stable, not sparing a glance at Blair.

I urged Moondance into a fast canter around the ring we fly effortlessly around the ring my position, hands and cues are perfect and me and Moondance look every bit the team we are. I ask Moondance for a nice easy flying change and she glides into the change with ease I ask her to do a square halt and pat her neck smiling. I then urge her into a canter and we head towards a nice low jump and I ease into a perfect jumping position and we sail over the jump with ease and land effortlessly. I pat Moondance's neck and say, "Good girl! That was perfect!" I grin Happily
