I nod, looking up at the open field, the gorgeous blowing trees and the clear blue skies. I click Midnight into a lope and turn to Violet. "Have you met any decent guys yet?" I ask her, smiling slyly.

I laugh. "Well...." I stretched up, revealing my well tone abs. "I dont really pay attention unless a really good guy comes along, you know?" My phone buzzed. I glanced at the caller ID, at sighed "Speaking of the devil." I shoved my phone back into my phone case hooked to my belt.

I roll my eyes with her. "That's so guy friend." I say in a fake-girly tone, laughing. "Yeah. The only guy I haven't turned down would be one super hot grade 10 who I couldn't resist, a few years back, in middle school back home. "I pause, smiling. "His name was Riley" I say, and sigh, sadness and longing filling my eyes.

I nod, serious. "Boys are funny. One moment there all nice and in 'friend territory' and the next its all 'I love you'." I rode through Harley through a shallow stream.

I laugh. Harley snorted and broke into a trot. "Woah there boy." I bring him back to walk. "I think he knows the word p-a-s-t-u-r-e." I pat his neck.

I laugh, nodding. "Same with Midnight. Watch." I pause and prepare. "Race" I say softly to him, and he immediately picks up a fast, steady canter. I laugh and slow him.
