I walked into the party place. I had been off campus for a while but now I was back. I saw Carmela and I walked over to her. "We need to talk." I said, grabbing her elbow.

My eyes widened when I saw Andrew walked in. Crap! When did he get back!? Crap. He was walking over. Crap, crap. What were you suppose to do when your ex-boyfriend who you caught kissing your best friends comes over to talk to you? Crap. I but my lip as I listened to him. No. I told him, my voice shaking. We. Aren't. Together. Anymore.

I whisper to jacob. "Just a sec" she goes over to to Carmel and violet, concerned. "Everythng ok?" on Impulse, I glare at the boy who had just entered.

I glance at Sammie. "Please, go have fun, but me and Carmel need to go." I make sure she isn't following. "Please, nothings wrong. I'll tell you tomorrow." I Grab Carmel's arm and run her across the courtyard, then bringing her into my dorm. I lock the door and turn to her. "Who IS that?" I say, and make her sit down on my bed. I sit down in the empty one across from her.

I sat on her bed, staring at her floor more out of shock then anything. I had let Violet drag me out of the party and now as I sat in her dorm, the party was the last place I wanted to think about. My ex boyfriend. I said finally. The one I caught kissing my best friend. And just like that, tears started rolling down my cheeks.

I feel hurt, and I hope Violet knows how mean she'd just acted towards me. I turn to Jacob.

I watch Carmel and Violet run away. When Sammie turns toward me, I ask "Hey, you ok?" I take her hand.

I shrug. Violet hasn't been a very good friend to me lately.

I dont want to question her, but from what I had seen, Sammie hadn't been a good friend either. I bring Sammie over to a bench. "How?"
