I ride Harley into the ring, sitting bareback and slightly dangle my legs by his sides. I see the Liverpool jump and sit up straighter. "We can do this boy." I bring him to a trot then canter. I canter around the arena and caner him torward the jump. Harley shudders and grinds to a hal, but i firmly slap him with my crop. He shudders, then leaps over the tarp. I can't hide my amazement. "Good boy!" I get off and squeeze him tight. I turn when the door opens.

Lindsay Nack led Adonis into the arena that held 1 other rider. Good, maybe I can meet someone new. I snap on my Black, GPA Helmet on and put on my schooling gloves before running my hand along Adonis's sleek, black, neck. I can feel he's tense so I massage his back. "Mind if I ride in here?" I ask while I tighten his girth and brushs some dust off his chestnut saddle.

I see a girl I've never met before and half smile. "Sure. I'm Violet." I say, hopping back on Harley.

I smile"Thanks, I'm Lindsay Nack." I bring Adonis to the mounting block and hop onto his tall back. I walk him along the rail for a few minutes then ask for a trot. "Good boy." I whisper. I turn my hand sideways and he begins to Canter. He lets out a buck which I knew was coming. I tighten the reins a bit and turn him towards a 3ft vertical. He sails over the jump with no issue. Next we go over a 2ft triple oxer. "Keep it coming Adonis." I say. He knickers and we go over a 4ft double oxer. I look around the arena and choose a 4.5ft veritcal. I then turn him towards the liverpool and hold in my breath. "I know you hate water Adonis but you got this." I say.

His ear flickers back and he speeds up a bit. He stops for a second at the liverpool and then jumps it akwardly. I slow him to a trot then a walk. "Better then not going over it." I say to him petting his neck.

I smile. "I have trouble with that too. My horse, Harley, hates it." I say, patting his neck. HArley eyes the other horse and snorts. I tighten my reins and softly squeeze my legs to his sides. I loved riding bareback. It felt like you had a better bond with the horse, connected to him in every way. I loved Harley with all my heart, and riding him like this was... amazing. I guide Harley to a 4'3 vertical. Sitting deeo, I slightly lean forward and Harley jumps it easily. I canter him around to a 3-3'9 foot triple bar. I grab his mane for balance as we launch over it. I smile.

I watch Violet carefully. "You're really good. I haven't ridden bareback in a long time." I state as I walk Adonis around.

I smile. "Thanks. I love riding bareback. It gives you a better connection with your horse." I hopped off of Harley and walked to the center of the ring, him following me like a puppy. I slip off his bridle and hang it on the jump standard. I throw a neckstrap around his neck and hop on him. I take the neck strap and canter around the ring.

I quickly un-mount and take off Adonis's saddle and then mount back on. "Haven't done this in a while huh, boy?" I say and then urge him into canter. I rock at a steady beat with his stride as a huge grin seeps across my face. "Come on boy! You're a thoroughbred." I whisper into his ear. He tosses his head and speeds up a bit. I squeezed my legs tighter as he slips into a slow gallop.
