I stand outside the entrance of The Slice, nervously waiting for Kayla to get here. I had a red rose in my hand for her and I hoped she liked it. I was dressed in black dress pants, a black dress shirt that was tucked into my pants, and my black converse. My hair was still slightly damp from the shower I had just taken. In my pocket I had everything I needed; cell phone, wallet, breathe mints, and my dads lucky bullet casing. Now all I needed was for Kayla to be here. I looked at myself, and frowned. I really did look OK.... No girl ever admitted she looked perfect. But that was how i looked. The blue dress, the black leather jacket, the loose blonde hair. I really DID look perfect. I walked over to the shop to see Chris, my heart beating fast. It was all about keeping your cool, but how exactly do you do that? I smiled at Chris when i reached him. He looked REALLY cute in that outfit. "Hey." I said, giving him a quick side hug. It made me feel warm all over. And being close to you... Notes:

I smile a she hugs me and then I look her over. "You look beautiful." I say. I almost forget the rose so i had it over to her. "I got this for you.I didn't know if you were allergic or if you liked flowers but I bought it anyways." I explain. I run my hand nervously through my hair. I can't stop looking at her, she looks amazing.

"Your welcome." I replied. God I love the way she says my name. "Reservations for two, its under Chris Nack." I say. A lady nods and grabes to menus. "Right this way." she says. I follow her to the back. Our table is pretty private, its a small circular table, with a white table cloth and candles. I pull Kayla's chair out for her. My dad always wanted me to treat woman like they were royalty, so I did.
