OOC: i didn't mean to sound that way at all i meant it like i do it all the time and I'm good at it not trying to brag
Ok i walked over my face without an expression but a slight frown. When Sammie answered me she had some attitude, it made me think she thought i was being snotty to her. i stopped thinking about that and circled Spirit twice before taking the first jump.
I went forward toward the jump from a trot smoothly to a canter. I went up to the vertical counting the strides five, four, three, two, one. On one i squeezed my heels into her side she sored over the jump without hitting the rail, luckily. I headed toward the second jump it was a double oxer. I went right over that. your doing great girl, four more, i said to Spirit.
After doing another double oxer, and the fake water jump, all very good and i cleared the rail on all of then, i headed for the last jump. It was a cavaletti jump. again i counted the strides Five, four, three, two, one. i soared over it without knocking the rail. It was a good ride i could tell some improvements but i wanted to here Sammie's comments about my ride. so...what do you think?Whatever you have to say i am willing to hear you advice.i said to Sam my voice quiet and respectfully.

My face was expressionless as I tossed my hair and sat up straighter. That was pretty good. You have to keep your heels down and do a proper crest-release when you're jumping. Also, make sure Spirit only jumps as high as he needs to jump for the jump size. I could also tell that you were counting strides. I say deeply.

I completely agree with you. i could tell that i had me heels up a little more and i could have corrected it but i was too focused on doing the jumps and my posture. i said in a normal voice. you can go now if you want. i said respectfully.

I smile. Okay. I say, and click Midnight into a trot, and then bring him out of the circle into a smooth, even, steady canter. My heels were down, my posture brilliant- stick straight and balanced. Midnight and I were obviously connected, working together as a team. We approached the first jump with ease, my disposition calm, making Midnight happy and on cue. We took off at the correct time, flying over the jump and landing with barely a sound. I made sure I did a proper crest-release after the jump and straightened again almost immediately. I looked to my second jump, giving Midnight a half-halt to let him know I was still in control. This jump was higher, so I squeezed his sides a couple of strides before lifting off, letting him rock back on his haunches and take the jump flawlessly. We easily pop over the double oxer and the faux-pond jump, me focusing on Midnight's lead, stride, my posture, heels and landings. As we headed for the final jump, I grinned. We took off on the perfect spot and flew through the air, landing with, yet again, barely a sound. I did a perfect flying lead change to finish it off, before gently pulling my gelding into a trot and turning to Bella.

Well, i start, It was good right but, you had you hands high a couple of times, your heels had gone up a couple of times while going over the double oxar and the vertical. Also you went a little to early on the faux-pond jump, it could have turned out horrible if you any later, but you did recover well. When you did the flying lead change that wasn't necessary, your hands weren't as gentle as they should have been. Finally, i just want to say it was a good ride and that we both need improvements. I said calmly and confident. i hope that i didn't affend her at all by saying the mistakes i noticed.

I raise an eyebrow. Flying lead changes are neccesary when you land on the wrong lead. I can't finish off on the wrong lead. And plus, I was focusing on my heels and no matter what you're always sinking your weight into them over jumps. And my hands were gentle enough to keep him focused but also calm.
OOC: I'd like to say that you were completely wrong- I think you should read over my post again instead of looking up critique online.
