I gasped as I saw the campus of Canterwood Crest. Yes. The Canterwood Crest academy the most prestigious school in the world. well.....not the world but you get the point. I opened the car door once we were parked and glanced around even the car park looked amazing! I said, "Momma! will you and papa load my stuff in my dorm room please? i'm going to get Red settled in to the stables" I waved to my parents and unlocked the trailed and led Red Blossom otherwise known as Red my 7 year old red roan arabian gelding. I patted his nose and said, "Here we are Peng You (Friend) our new home" I looked around me and started leading Red towards the stables.

I smiled and and squealed excitedly despite myself when I saw the huge black and white barn ahead of me. I walked him into the stables I looked around everything I had to fight the urge to pat all the horses around me. I spotted Red's Stall and unlocked it and let him in after I unclipped his green lead line. I brushed my hand over his velvety nose and rubbed his Green halter and walked out I was careful to lock the door. I headed back to my car to get my stuff i'd just walked out of the barn when I bumped into a girl who snapped, "Watch it!"

I stared at the girl, realizing what I had just said. "I'm sorry. Bad day. I'm Rose, are you new?"

[hermione]

When I was walking to my horse's stall a girl walked into me and I said "Watch it" so then the girl stoped and looked at me like she was scared.

[courtney]

I jumped back and bumped into another girl I edged away nervously and said, "dui bu qi (Sorry) .I-I didn't see you guys there" I brushed some of my dark black hair away from my face and adjusted my hair clip which was a little violet colored flower with a silver handle. I glanced nervously at the two girls I knew from the email i'd received from the Headmistress that I was the first chinese person to have come here in 25 years. I froze when I realized i'd spoken in Chinese it was a nervous habit of mine.

[hermione]

The new girl said sorry and I said its not a probelm and I interduce myself as "Kim Woods and who are you I was woundering?"

[courtney]

I glanced at the second girl i'd bumped into as she spoke she seemed nice enough but I wasn't about to let my guard down just yet. I said, "Ni hao (Hello). My name is Courtney Kerr nice to meet you and I just got here I was going back to my car to grab my tack and such" I blushed again when I spoke chinese I stammered, "S-S-Sorry I speak Chinese when i'm nervous" as I said I was Chinese I touched the amethyst pendant around my neck it was a good luck gift from my grandmother. I glanced nervously at the two girls.

I said "it's no problem then I asked what is your name I was just Woundering ?"

[courtney]

(I said it already her name is Courtney Kerr)

I looked at the girl curiously hadn't she heard me say my name? was she trying to get me to say it again so she could make fun of me?. I said simply, "Wǒ jiào (My name is) Courtney Kerr I already said that though" I fingered my pendant around my neck and looked around nervously. I turned my head when Red stuck his head out of his stall his forelock and mane were braided in a traditional chinese braid as was my own hair. I hoped it looked good and that these girls wouldn't think I was stupid for doing my horse's hair like my own.

[hermione]

I said " Hay sorry I heard your name and it is nice to meet you". Then I asked her Did you bring a horse here?" I waited for her to answer.

[rosie marie ∞]

I kinda stared at her, "I love Nihow Kilan." I smiled, jokingly, "Rose."

[courtney]

I smiled weakly and said, "Nice to meet you too and yes I did his name is Red Blossoms or Red he's right here" I patted Red's nose and said, "Come meet our new Peng You's (Friends) Red" I brushed off my dark green and white hoodie underneath I wore a light green bell top and black leggings and black ballet flats. My clothes cost about $ 3,500 in total that included my hair piece. I looked at my reflection in a window my dark reddish black hair fell over my back with a braid and I tiny bangs that hung over my forehead and I had a small cat eye of mascara and light golden eyeshadow on the eyelids and some foundation and light pink berry lip gloss to top it off.

I walked over the Courtney's horse and put my hand out so he can snif it then I reached out and pet and he leaned right into my pet and then I looked at my horses stall saw that Spirt was looking at the new horse that s next to him and I asked Courtney "would you like to meet my horse that is next to yours?".

[courtney]

I watched her pet Red warily I didn't know how Red would react to a stranger petting him I sighed quietly when he didn't panic and I said, "Sure. What's their name?" I glanced over to where they were looking and saw a very pretty horse I glanced them over curiously sizing them up seeing how they compared to Red I was eager to see what kind of competition I would have here at Canterwood. I felt thrill as I said the school's name itr would be a while before the novelty wore off.

[hermione]

I said "My horse's name is Spirit and he loves to meet new people". So we walked over to spirit and I gave him a treat and then I asked courtney "Would you like to give spirit a horse cooking?".

[courtney]

I followed the girl over to her horse's stall and I stuck my hand out and let sniff my hand for a bit before I gently patted his nose and scratched him under his forelock that was Red's favorite spot. I watched her give her horse treat and I said, "Spirit's a pretty name and sure what kind are these? I have peppermint circles"
