"gee that's nice for someone to make fun of you. Are you okay? Do you know who the guy was?" I say wondering what mean guy would do such a thing to such a nice girl.

I nodded and said, "Yeah his name's Ian he's Violet's ex boy friend" I brushed the hair out of y face I was going to have to find another clip to put my hair to hold my bangs back so they weren't so annoyingly far into my face or trim them so they were shorter or something.

I walked into the HUGE library, slightly in awe. I had decided to go into the library since I didn't really know my way around, and it was the first thing I came across. I knew I needed a distraction from my homesickness, and I love books, so...

I noticed two girls chatting at a table and hesitantly walked over.

Jeez, Owens! You have to make some new friends!!!

"Hi, uh - sorry to interrupt. I'm Laurel, I'm new..."

[courtney]

I looked up from the Warriors book I was reading when the girls spoke i smiled and said, "Ni hao I mean hello i'm Courtney and this my friend Bella i'm new too just got here yesterday" I waved and brushed my bands out of my face again.

I smiled - this girl was so friendly!

"It's nice to meet you - can you talk Chinese? Because that is seriously cool!"

[Bella Marshall]

I looked up at the girl and said, "hi nice to meet you, I'm Bella. Pretty name." I smile

[Laurel]

"Hey Bella! Um, so do you guys ride?" I noticed the big stack of books next to Bella, and cringed inwardly as I thought about all the homework I was going to get.

[courtney]

I nodded and said, "Yep i'm hoping to be on the beginner team I have a 7 year old red roan arabian gelding named Red how about you do you ride?" I growled silently at my bangs and slid it back and slipped my hair out of my hair and into my bangs I REALLY needed to get them trimmed otherwise they'd drive me insane.

I grinned - Lou was my favorite subject!

"Yeah - I have a dapple gray mare, named Illusionist. I just call her Lou! She's Arab x Connemara. I'm hoping to be on the Intermediate Team" I tapped my foot - my nervous tic.

"What about you, Bella?"

[courtney]

I smiled flashing my bright teeth and said, "Ooh! I love Connie's! their so sweet!" I blushed at how hyper and wierd I must sound right now to them.

I noticed Courtney's cheeks went slightly pink after her little outburst.

"Same! Connemaras are my fav breed - well, I love Arabs as well... obviously! Connies are so well-rounded" I checked my phone for the time.

[courtney]

I nodded and said, " definitely My first horse was Connie but he got really old and I gave him my cousin Choy Li so he could learn to ride" I checked my phone finding nothing interesting i put it away and went back to reading.

I smiled at Courtney's sweet story about her old horse.

"Okay, well I'm going to get some books out and then go for a trail ride. It was nice to meet you! I'll catch up with you in the caf or something?" I gave a little wave, then headed to browse the shelves.

I nodded and waved goodbye to her and said, "Bye! have fun!"
