post here-The girl muttered under her breath and went to drawing in her notebook. I put away my phone and pulled out my sketchbook and charcoal. I flipped through my book, passing sketches of Ian, Harley, flowers, and Kate. I started a rough sketch of a land scape. Then the teahcer walked in. Ms. Dannk, the german teacher. She wrote no talking on the board and sat down at her desk. 20 minutes ticked byas I finished the sketch of a forest. Suddenly the phone rang and Ms. Dannk got up to answer it. The second she left the room fell into chatter. Ian nodded to a couple of his friends and they got up, heading to the chinese girl's desk. I tried to get up but I realized one of the boys had tied my boot to the desk. I opened my mouth and watched as they walked in front of the girl, and started tormenting. -post here [/color][/center] Notes: here

center]   I glanced up as the teacher walked in and wrote on the board no talking. I saw that no one was doing anything so I went back to writing in my notebook. I looked up again as the phone rang and the teacher left the room. Almost immediately the guy Ian who had been mean to me before got up and walked up to me I looked up at him and said in full Chinese "Can I help you?" tags tag here

Ian laughed. "Told you girl, I don't speak asian." He said. "Whyd you even come hear? To MOCK us? You think your smart, above us all? Well, heres the thing asian. Your not. If anything, your the opposite." The 2 boys laughed, and I tried to untie myself. Ian leaned closer. "You. Need. To. Get. Out. Now." He said menacingly. "And take blondie with you." He motioned to her friend. He went back to his desk, and continued to smile. "Hurry up asian, you dont have forever."

center] my eyes watered at his insults and I stood up and said, "I am not not Asian! I am Chinese! I'm not different then you just because i speak a different language doesn't mean i'm trying to mock you! i'm still learning to say english words you are a foolish bully! I came here to stay and i'm not about leave because you don't like the fact that i'm Chinese like it or not i'm staying here!" I couldn't believe how cruel that boy was or how i'd just stood up for myself in front of so many over kids. I snapped, "And how dare you insult the Chinese name!" tags tag here

center] I looked up horrified at the teacher and opened my mouth to say something but closed it and whispered, "Yes ma'am" I slumped in my seat I began writing furiously in my book in chinese and keep my gaze focused on my book my eyes were stinging as I held back the urge to cry. I wasn't to let some bullies and a few mean teachers scare me away I was chinese and proud of it who cared if someone else didn't. tags tag here

My mouth settled in a grim line. After detention was over, I got up and was about to head over to Ian when I saw the girl sitting there. "Vi! You comin?" Said Ian by the door way. I hesitated, then said. "Yeah/" I left detention with the girl sitting there. I hoped she was ok.

I walked in when Ian, another detention regular called Violet the hottest bad girl at Canterwood. "I rolled my eyes, popped my gum, and blew at the fresh pink nail polish i was sporting. "Who? Me?" I grinned. I smiled at Violet, we we're both always here. I pulled out my phone and typed trail ride after detention? to Violet. I sat down in the very back, shooting sexy , flirty grins at the guys. One whistled, "Ooh such a bad girl! And foxy, too!" I smiled, "Always, right? Such a badd boy."

"Well that depends, short and foxy, or tall and sexy." Another boy lauged. "Redhead or Brunette." I shot a look at Ian, who was my on again off again boyfriend. |

After Courtney got in trouble, Ian leaned over and whispered "What an asian." He laughed, and when I rolled my eyes he kissed me. I kissed him back, then pulled away. "Stop being mean Ian." I said, glancing at her.

I brushed the hair out my face and pretended not hear them but I heard every word. I started singing softly under my breath in chinese it was lullaby my mother sang to me when I was little and had fallen down and was crying. I glanced at Ian, Violet and Ian's friends out of the very corner of my eye. tags tag here

Ian seemed to have lost interest in tormenting her and more in kissing me, so I let him. Besides, he was a good kisser. I kissed him back, and glanced at her in the corner of my eye. Your welcome, I thought.

I looked over at Violet and saw her having a make out session with Ian I made a grossed out face and went back to my singing and writing. I looked up startled as I heard a loud crash of thunder I whispered, "And thunder rolled over the valley brining rain and lightning that wiped away the rice patties leaving all in despair and sorrow" I looked out the window as the rain lashed down lighting flashed angrily across the sky. tags tag here
