I smile, nodding quickly. When we reach the nurse's office, I give her a small wave and limp inside.

I waved back and jogged towards the Dressage arena I carefully guided the two horses to some cross ties and clipped them up I untacked Dream first and put the tack on it's rack. I started grooming her and while I groomed I sung softly in chinese something that always made Red happy. Once I finished grooming Dream I untacked Red and started grooming him. tags tag here

An hour later, I walked out of the nurse's office in a leg cast, clutching a pair of crutches under my arms. No riding for three weeks. I thought sadly, my eyes watering as I try not to remember Dream's freakout. I hope he's okay, and I decide that I'll have Mr. Conner and the vet check him out for any sign of struggle. I make my way to the stables, avoiding sympathetic stares. I hate sympathy. It's not that I don't appreciate it- but I'm not one to take it lightly. I find Courtney in the stables and force a smile. "Three weeks of no riding." I groan.

I saw Brooke coming and waved I said, "Aww! that sucks I hope you feel better soon though do you want me to lunge Dream for you so she doesn't go stir crazy from no one riding her for three weeks" I patted Red's shoulder and I undid the last braid on his mane. tags tag here

I smile and shrug. "Thanks, but the nurse said I could lunge her if you want. You could definitely come and try him over some jumps, though, if you wanted."

I looked over at her and said, "Oh..i'm not too at jump just yet i'm practicing with Red because he's learning to jump as well" I patted Red's rump to let him know I was there and I started undoing the braid's on his tail. tags tag here

I smile softly. "Your horse is amazing. He reminds me of you- calm and sleepy." I wink, sticking out my tongue at her jokingly before grabbing Dream's lead rope and following Red and Court outside.

I laughed as I lead Red out towards the paddocls and said, "Me? Sleepy? calm? ha! that'll be the day hedgehogs fly!" I continued to giggle as I clipped Red's lead line and gave him and hug before letting him canter off to see his friends. tags tag here

I smile, watching her horse canter off before hugging Dream tightly and slipping off his tangerine-colored halter, which had an awesome golden nameplate embroidered into the front. I turn and keep slow pace with Courtney, my crutches making me have big yet slow strides. "Stranger things have happened." I say to Courtney, grinning sheepishly.

I smiled and spun in a circle before saying, "oh really?" i raised eyebrow at her curiously. Red darted around the paddock whinnying happily as he new found freedom from his stall didn't like being kept in his stall all day while his buddies where out in the paddocks having fun together. tags tag here
