I walked into the stables smiling I was going to see Red my stunning 7 year old Red roan arabian gelding. I headed straight for his stall and grabbed his lead line and went in I smiled and patted his neck before clipping the lead line on his green halter and kissed his nose and said, "Good morning peng you (Friend)" I walked him out and attached him to the cross ties. After an hour of grooming he was groomed and after I put on his vaulting tack he and I were ready I led him into the Dressage ring and clipped on his lunge line I got him to trot then canter then I asked him to halt.
I grabbed a jump post and dragged it to the centre and tied the lunge line on to it and and vaulted on to Red. I asked him to trot and I gained my balance and slipped my feet into the hooks and carefully stood on his back I kept my arms by my sides then I slid down carefully grabbed the rings on his side and sat crouched on his side as he trotted around I swung myself onto back again and lay on his back sideways and held onto the the rings and then I sat back on his back and did the same process but while he was cantering. I asked him to stop and froze when I heard someone clapping.
I looked over again to see Brooke smiling at me I smiled back and said, "Thanks! it's really fun it takes a while to get used to and to not be scared I know Red it'll let me do what ever I want with because he's awesome like that aren't you Red?" I hopped off while he was still trotting and I asked him to halt.
(is she still on crutches?) I smiled and patted Red's shoulder and looked around the huge ring was clean and tidy except for the jump pole in the centre and the circle that Red had created while he'd been trotting and cantering around.
(Ok) I nodded and said, 'Ok see you later then! have fun!" I waved hugged Red before untying the lunge line and taking it off him before I attached his lead line and leading him around a few circles to cool him off before I took him back to the cross ties and groomed him again then I put him in his stall with new hay and water.
