I knocked on Mr. Conner's door, Courtney beside me, and could feel my heart quickening.

  I stood outside Mr. Conner's door as Laurel knocked on it. I waited for Mr. Connor to open the door and greet us I shook my hands nervously my lip was stinging and bruises were forming on my face where i'd been slapped by the guy. tags tag here

"Come in!" Mr Conner's voice called. I glanced at Courtney's bruised face, then pushed open the door.
"Sorry to disturb you, sir, but we wanted to report some... bullying. These boys have beaten up Courtney, and they covered Red in paint and stuff..." I broke off as I realized I was babbling.
"So, we thought you should know. I realize I'm new here, but I did recognize at least one of the boys. Oh, and they smashed Courtney's necklace, and they said racist things to her."

I looked at Laurel then said, "They also dumped a bucket of cherry juice on me in the middle of the sweet shoppe and.. when they attacked me they cornered me in the pool area with five against 1 until Laurel came to my rescue" I brushed the hair out my face I careful not to touch the bruises. tags tag here

Mr Conner looked rather agitated as he shuffled papers on his desk.
"Thank you, girls, for being so direct and coming to see me, so I can prevent this from happening again. Laurel, you said you recognized one of them?" I felt relief wash over me that he believed us - but Courtney was covered in bruises.
"Uh, yes - Troy McAdams was the one who hit Courtney. I don't know the others." Mr Conner nodded.
"Rest assured that Mr McAdams will receive a fair punishment. He won't hurt you again."

I nodded and said, "Thank you Mr. Conner for listening" I inwardly sighed that he'd believed us and I wouldn't be run out of the school by a bunch of bullies for thought thy were better then me and didn't like the fact that I was chinese. I needed to go get a shower after this and clean up I must look horrible from the blood on my lip and te bruises on my fce and my messed up hair and clothes. tags tag here

We walked out of Mr Conner's office, and I smiled at Courtney.
"Thank goodness for that!" Just then, I remembered - I was supposed to be in class!!
"Uh, I'm really sorry, but I have to get back to my English class and explain why I was missing for an hour!"
I spun around and sprinted out of the barn, blowing a kiss at Lou, who was munching hay.

I nodded and waved goodbye to Laurel before running to my math class. I couldn't believe i'd missed most of it! i'd never skipped class before! well I was sort of forced to skip it. I waved to Red who was now freshly cleaned and covered in a nice green blanket. tags tag here
