I cantered him around the arena and and let him cool down. I looked over at Kyle and Silver and noticed they were doing well. I looked at B.D.'s coat and saw it had darkened. I let him cool down and walked him around in a circle.

I cantered Silver in a circle before I slowed her down and trotting her over to B.D and Stephanie I smiled and said, "She's got a nice trot it's much smoother ten B.D's trot" I smiled and patted Silver on the shoulder and smiled at her.

I hopped down from the saddle and said"I did rough on you today,did I boy?" I kissed his muzzle. "Hey Kyle want to stop now?" I noticed Silver was calmed down. I got the reins and led B.D. toward Kyle and Silver.

I nodded and said, "Sure" I swung myself out of the saddle and patted Silver's muzzle ad told her she was good girl before I took the reins off from over her head. I looked Silver in the eyes before I turned to look at stephanie.

I smiled and hugged B.D before saying, "I'm hoping to be on the beginner team I haven't had my tryout yet " I ran my fingers through B.D's forelock absently as I held tightly on to his reins.

"I'm on the beginner team,but Silver and I are going to make it to the top." My cellphone rang. "Excuse me." My face became dark." "Dad I am practicing!", I sighed," You cannot bribe a judge, Mr.Conner is my instructor and you cannot fire him either!" I came back with my knuckles white. I leaned on Silver's back. "So when's your tryout?" I returned my face back to calm.

I watched her careful and grimaced in sympathy my dad was just as demanding and manipulative as hers sounded I said, "My tryout isn't until next week so I have plenty of time to practice" I ran a hand through my hair then I ran my fingers through B.D's mane and forelock.

I smiled and said, "Sure! thanks that would be great I really use some help for jumping and cross country and uh.... I get how you feel your dad sounds just like my dad, my dad is a bit too demanding some times" I smiled awkwardly at her and went back to studying B.D's mane the one thing I love the most about B.D is the fact that he has three colors in his mane, tail and forelock and he has the brown dorsal stripe from his mane to his tail. "I'm good at both so are you good at dressage I need serious practice." I braided Silver's mane separately so she won't get it tangled."About my dad he works in New York City,always busy,and never has time for family. If you look in house you won't see a single picture of a family. I live in New York City in a penthouse." I noticed my voice has changed to serious.

I listened to her and I found myself nodding to what she said I sighed and said, "Dressage has been my passion since I was little and My dad is a US solder and a former Drill Instructor he's either with the new recruits of gone away for months at a time fighting in Iraq and when he's home he's always yelling and screaming at me and my mom he can't even sit down to Christmas Eve dinner without swearing and yelling at us" I looked away as I realized how bitter and resentful my voice sounded.

I looked at Stephanie slightly surprised at how fast she changed he topic I shrugged and said, "Dunno perhaps this weekend?" I walked B.D in a circle around the ring as he started to get restless from standing still so long I was glad I could move around my feet were hurting from standing still for so long.
