He was walking lazily through the isles, scanning the long lines of books absent-mindedly. He clicked his tongue, forming a rhythmic beat that echoed through the empty library as he strolled boredly around, only half focused on finding the science book he was actually here to take out. Getting lost in thought of his first day and the people he'd seen so far, he stopped abruptly, so close to hitting the girl that their noses almost touched. He took a step back, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Sorry." He said, his deep voice steady. He studied the girl's face. NOTES my only rule is that whoever replies has a template |

Heather knew that she should be back at her dorm studying for the upcoming finals, but she just couldn't handle anymore reading. Stepping into the library, Heather rounded the corner into one of the isles, deciding to look for a good book. running her hand along the titles, Heather didn't notice somebody right in front of her. She walked into him, and looked up, meeting his eyes. As they both steppped back at the same time, Heather glared at him, but mumbled an apology. Heather raised her eyes as he spoke and placed a hand on her shoulder. The first thing that she realized about the boy was that he was cute. And he simple apoligized, not stuttered and played dumb.

Heather smiled slightly and spoke. "I'm Heather. Sorry about that." Heather ran a hand through her hair and across her cheek, feeling her smooth, make up free skin. "Um, were you here to study?"

I relaxed onto one hip and slid my hands into my back pockets. I looked up at Derrick and smiled faintly. "I'm supposed to be doing homework back at my dorm, but I couldn't take anymore numbers and sentences. I wound up wandering over here, so.." I gestured onward, my voice trailing off. Smiling, I looked at Derrick, and then spoke. "So, how long have you been here?"

i raised my eyebrows but held back a snarky comment. only 8 hours? total newbie. sinking into one hip, i adjusted my bag and looked up at him. "well, it doesn't look like either of us are getting anywhere. its almost.." i pulled out my iphone and checked the time,, ignoring all the texts. "7, are you in the mood for ah-mazing pizza?" i smiled, hoping he would want out of this stuffy library.
