Abby Ritter
I had left my dorm room and went out to see Pilgrim. I felt as if we were slowly starting to get somewhere. While I still wasn't ready to ride him, we were both accustom to each other on the ground now, and with patience, I believe were were starting to understand each other. I wish Erin could have come with me, but she's been busy both with her riding placements as well as school work, and I honestly just didn't want to bother her. After all, I should have to rely on her all the time when I was Pilgrim or else our bound would probably never grow. Snow was all over the place, but as soon as I step inside the barn, I was free of it as well as the cold hair.
Taking a deep breath, the smell of horses filled my lungs and I couldn't help but to smile. I honestly thought that horses were the best smell in the world. Some horses poked their heads out to see who I was but quickly retracted back when they realized that I was not there to feed them. Slowly, I made my way down the aisles before I found Pilgrim. His large head swung in my direction for a moment as he eyed me with his liquid amber eyes before deciding that I was fine and slowly turned, waiting by the stall door as I slid it open. He still had the bars on his door, I didn't think they would move him into another stall any time soon after the damage he had done. Shyly, I clipped the lead rope to his halter and lead him out to the cross ties and began to groom him.

I was carrying a new saddle pad into the stables when i saw a pretty blond girl grooming her horse. "He's beautiful." I said quietly.

I was working a rubber curry comb over Pilgrim's slide. Slowly, my hand moved in circular motions as I watched the dust slowly get lifted from his black coat. Every snort or twitch he made, my eyes would glance over towards his head to see if he would do anything to me. But Pilgrim remained still and calm. He really had come such a way in only two weeks, if it hadn't been for Erin though, I could honestly say that he and I would still be in the same spot that we had been in the beginning: lost and angry. Brick by brick, we were slowly healing each other. There was movement in the asiles now, and I glanced up to see a girl with a saddle pad, "He's beautiful," she commented. I couldn't help but to smile shyly, "Thank you," I replied, after a moment, I finally added on, "I'm Abby by the way..."

I grinned. "I'm Kayla. Do you do Reining with him? He looks the type."

I walked into the Stables, after a harsh day. I had bullied Kayla and felt terrible about it, Carmel wasn't talking to me, and my hair was all mustled up. I walked into the Stables after straightening it and putting it into a chunky braid. I say Kayla and a new girl. "Oh, hey, Kayla, Sorry about today." I apoligized, hiking up the sattle I had in my arms. "Hi, I'm Brit Chan." I introduced myself to the new girl.

I frowned. It just didn't sem like Brits style to apologise. I was totaly ready to forgive her, bbbbuuuuutttttt..... "Uh, yeah, whatever." I said, but grinned. I wasnt one tohold a grudge. "It wasnt that bad!" I had said some mean things to, and i really wanted to be Brits friend, she was SO nice.... To other people. "Wane help me switch saddle pads? It isnt that hard, but xomehow my saddle ALWAYS gets dirty while doing it."

Lola I walked into the barn and saw Abby with Kayla. The other I didn't know. "Are you making any progress with him Abby?" I asked her knowing that Pilgrim and her have had problems before.

I glanced at Abby. Her horse seemed so well behaved, it was hard to believe he had problems. "Hey. Lola."
