Claire turned around and smiled at Kayla. "Its nice to meet you too sweetie." Claire pulled the car to a stop in front of some fancy french restaurant. "Okay you guys, they are suppose to meet you outside. Ill be here if you need anything." I nodded; I was too nervous to speak. Everyone started to get out but I staid in the car. "Carmela." I looked up into Claire's green eyes. "You'll be fine." I smiled and got out of the car. I walked in front of my friends, shoving my hands in my jacket. Farther up, I spotted a family of three with dark hair. My pulse quicken. Wait...three? I walked faster. There was a man, a woman, and a girl about my age. She looked familiar. Omigod. I whispered. She looked familiar because she looked exactly like me. I had a twin.
Woah. Talk about never saw that coming. I hardly heard Kayla asking me if I wanted them to join us. Just...stay there please? I asked them, walking slowly towards the family that finally noticed. When I reached them, my eyes went first to the pretty dark haired woman. She had long, silky black hair and almond shaped eyes. My eyes traveled to the tall man. He had short dark brown hair and a wide smile. I finally focused on the girl. She had my height, my hair, my eyes, and my face. Hi. I whispered. She smiled and before I could react, the whole family wrapped around me and gave me a hug.
I felt awkward somehow. My eyes rested of my twin sister. She seemed like the prefect version of me. Like me without my zillion faults. I realized that my parents did give me up for adoption. Guess they wanted one kid and they got two. Whoops, better get rid of the bad one. Without thinking, I turned around and sprinted off, tears filling up my eyes.
I gasped, and glared at the family. Wasnt it bad enough that they had let her go, or did they HAVE to make her cry? I ran after the crying Carmel. "Carmel?" I said softly, and laid a hand on her shoulder.
I felt a hand on my shoulder. Without thinking, I jerked my shoulder, thinking it it was the family. When I turned around, I realized that it was Kayla. Urgh sorry Kayla. I whispered, tears still streaming down my face. I sniffed and realized they were coming over with a pained expression on their faces. I straightened up and whipped away the tears. Better now then never.
