I was laying on the bedin Haydens dorm waiting for him to hurry up so we could get thisproject done! I soon took out my phone and started texting. "Hey I'm gonna go see ya later love you!" I said taking my purse with me. I took out my phone and started to text Kayla and Jade.
hey wana trail ride meet me at the barn in 20
I then locked my phone and put it in my pocket.

My phone buzzed.
"hey wana trail ride meet me at the barn in 20" It was from lola.
"sure. Just changing quick, c u there." I texted back, and was dressed and jogging to the barn in no time.

As soon as I reached the barn I received a text from Kayla. I quickly read it and locked my phone running to Zane's stall.

Finally i was saddle and greeted Lola with a quick side hug. "Should we wait for Jade?" I asked.

"Yeah. We probaly should cause I haven't even gotten a text back yet. Also I'm not even tacked up yet!"/b] I said laughing. I then walked off to the tack room and grabbed my box and tack walking with Kayla to my stall. This is the first day she'll get to see Zane! I was so excited.

We suddenly came upon Lola's horse abruptly, and i gasped. "OH MY GOSH, LOLA! Your so lucky! Look at him... He's wonderful." I said, and patted the big black horse with affection. He seemed to acknowledge the compliment, and snorted.

"He can be a big pain at times." I said back unlatching thebstall door. I walked in and ran my hands down his leg. "So how did you get Dutchess? What does se do discpline wise?" I asked her taking out a dandy brush.

I paused at Lola's question.
"Well, she was bred by my grandfather, and he gave her to me. She is a great show jumper, but i want to try a small equitation class with her soon." I said, leaning on the stall door. Suddenly, a cute brown eyed guy came over and as soon as i saw him i froze. "Hey, Kayla!" He said. "Just visiting." My eyes turned cold. "Why is it that ALL the bad boy-luck comes to ME?" I asked allowed. Then i turned to Lola. "This is my ex, Josh. He broke up with a simple text, not even a simple phone call. And his reason for breaking up was to get together with the girl he'd been dating behind my back!" i said, trying to keep my voice calm. I turned to Josh, who suddenly leaned in to kiss me! I pushed him away, and stared wild eyed at him... I mouthed to Lola "help".

I flipped open my phone and checked my texts. i had gotten one a few minutes ago but i was on the phone and couldn't check it. seeing the text, i glanced at my clock. i still had time to get to the stables. i put a pair of breeches on and stuck my phone in my pocket and rushed out. stepping outside of Orchard, i looked around. "the stables is...that way?" i mumbled to myself. after a few dead ends i found the stables. "hey you guys! sorry i wasn't here sooner but i kinda got lost. i'll tack up right away!"

I heard Kayla say something to that guy in front of her. Ignoring it, I found Baby and cross-tied her. I rubbed her down with a stiff brush then smoothed her fur with a body rag, then I tacked her up in my english tack and snapped on my helmet. I removed her halter and lead her outside the stables. "ready!" i called.
