I was walking towards the stable one day when I noticed and empty pasture. Why's that I wondered to myself. I continued on my way and walked into the stables when the smell of hay and horses hit me. I loved the smell of the stables at dawn. I then headed down the left side of the barn noticing the new horses heads for the new year. I missed my old friends but made new ones the first year here and never wanted to go home. I had an awesome boyfriend and many friends. I started petting a blue roan and then heard a whinny. I walked towards my sleek beautiful crossbred. "Hi beautiful boy." I cooned to Zane stroking his muzzle. "How have you been lately? I'm sorry I haven't been down lately I've been busy. Do you wanna go for a ride in the pasture?" I asked him lightly. Zane whinnied in reply. I then turned and opened his tack box and took out his purple halter. I unlatched the stall door and stroked his smooth cheek. I put the nose band over his nose, him lowering his head so I didn't have to reach. Then I buckled his halter and put both my leadropes onto the halter. I grabbed the leadropes together and walked him out of the barn. "Are you ready boy?" I asked him. Zane ducked his head and snorted. "Alrite then." I said lifting myself onto his back. This was our first bonding time since the new year. Zane was suprisingly not jittery this year. Must've been the nerves from last year. Gone. I said to myself and walked him into the pasture. I started at a slow walk and then saw someone almost admiring me from the fence. I trotted over and saw it was a face I didn't reconize. "Watch much?" I asked grinning.

I was practically jumping in my seat as we pulled into the parking lot, my parents smiling and chuckling at me. We pulled into an open spot near the barn, since my horse, Rennie was in the back trailer. [purple]"Okay, sweetie. We'll get Ren sorted out, you go up to the barn to see where we should put him."[/purple] I nodded and jumped out of our truck. I saw a girl jumping onto her horse out in the pasture so I walked closer, watching them. She walked her horse over to me. [purple]"Watch much?"[/purple]she asked with a grin. My heart just about stopped. [purple]"Oh, I'm sorry. I..I was just..I'm sorry I'm lost."[/purple]I stuttered. [pink] Oh great, I bet she thinks I'm a freak.[/pink]I thought to myself, a blush forming on my cheeks. "First day huh? I asked the girl in front of me. "And your fine, you can actually come ride with me if you'd like! I'm sorta bored by myself." I said smiling at her.
