"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the CANTER-WOOD CREST TRAINING SHOW!" The announcer cried, and I grinned. "This is it girl," I said as I patted Duchess. Since the show was at the school, we didn't need to box. I placed my tack ready next to my stall, and started grooming my horse. The last month I had had a lot of changed in my life... but one thing stayed. the pure love for my horse and riding.

I walked over to Memory's stall early that morning. Hey Mem. I whispered to her. She was asleep in the back corner with her back hoof cocked up. I smiled at her and walked out. I wanted to see all of the course first. Memory could sleep for a few more minutes

I was gratefully full my warm jacket as I placed my chilly fingers in the pockets. My breath curled in the hair and my face was slowly going numb. I puffed out my cheeks and studied the jump course. Not too shabby. AS my first show as a YENT rider, I wanted to do the best that me and Memory could possibly do. "You should get inside." A voice carried over to me. Without turning around, I replied. You shouldn't tell me what to do. I can take care of myself.

Very. I waved good bye and went back to Memory's stall to get her ready. I quickly groomed her to a shine and tacked her up. I tied her to a mast outside and ran to the bathroom so I could change into my show clothes.

I quickly re-did my hair, putting it up in a nice french braid and led started to get Apollo ready for the show. I started to hum a random One Direction song, quietly singing the lyrics. After I got him all ready, I led him outside and tied him up to the mast that Carmel had just put Memory on and went into the bathroom, changing into my show clothes. Afterwords, I led him outside, into the cold air and found Memory. "Hey boy, where's Carmel?" I cooed, petting him.

I walked to the stable and saw Carmel and Brit with Appolo and Wish. I walked up to them. Today, I wasn't riding, but I still came to cheer my BFF and friend on. I wore a cute skirt with a top and super cute heels. It felt weird wearing this to the stable, but if I decided to go practice or something, I had an extra chnage of clothes in my tack box. Hey guys, are you stressin' out yet? I laughed and remembered how nervous I was at my first YENT show.
