Grooming Bear (OPEN!)

I led Bear my 16 hand friesian gelding towards the cross ties we'd just come from an 1 and a half dressage practice and Bear needed some serious grooming. I pulled out a curry comb and started going over his body with swift circles and once down I got out a soft body brush and did long sweeping strokes over his body brushing off any excess dirt and hairs.

His black coat was already going back to it's usual gleaming ebony color. I leaned down and started picking out his hooves. I picked up a special comb for cleaning his feathers and went through each foot very careful as to make sure he didn't pull any hairs of break any hairs.

Soon his mane, tail and feathers and entire body were gleaming in perfection. I patted his nose and ran the comb through his mane one last time.

I lead Bella down the tiny aisle. I hate this place. It was half the size of the stables at home and It just reeked of under million dollar horses. I see a boy grooming a freisan who was beautiful, not that I would ever admit that. Bella was much prettier. I give him a look and stop him in front of crossties. "Excuse me, but can you move?" My tone was icey. I couldn't help it. It was just, me.

I looked up at the new girl and said, "sorry but no There's some more cross ties down the end of aisle." I started braiding Bear's mane so it wouldn't get full of hay while he was in his stall.

[sammie]

I walk into the barn and see the new girl. "Hi! I'm Sammie." I smile.

[life95]

I grin when I see Sammie and say, "Hey Sammie!"

[sammie]

Sammie smiles warmly at Ryan. "Hey" She says and lightly pats Bear.

[life95]

I smile and say, "Bear's all calm now even though he had a panic attack less then ten minutes ago Hey!" I pushed Bear's head away from where he was trying to take my helmet off my head. I smiled and patted his neck before going back braiding his mane.

I laugh, waving. I turn to Violet. "Seems like we're ALWAYS helping people who fall!"

I smile and say, "Is that so? hmm... maybe I should fall more often then" I smile and wink at her.

[sammie]

I laugh, my eyes flirty.

I smile and start to braid Bear's tail in the same fashion that I did his mane.

I laugh at Sammie's comment. "Well, hopefully they will return the favor." I glance over at Bear's stall and laugh. "Hey, Harley's in the middle of Bear's and Midnight's stalls. Oh, are you in that field?" I point to the field out back. "That's Harley and Midnight's field." I lean against Harley's stall door, playing with Harley's mane. There wasn't much to play with, sense it was buzzed.

I smile say, "Yea, Bear's in the same paddock as Midnight and Harley" I continue braiding his both his tail and mane are gleaming.

"Vi, wanna go catch a movie then go back to our dorm?" I ask my friend.

[life95]

I picked his hooves and started picking them out I made sure there was no pebbles or sticks in his hooves I lightly spayed his hooves down before I grabbed a special towel and started scrubbing his hooves dry I applied a light coat of hoof moisturizer just to keep the insides from getting too dried out.
