I walk into the slice, ready for a pizza party. I had sent out a mass text 2 hours ago that said Pizza Party! 2nite @6 @ the Slice! I sat down at the table, eager for the celebration to begin. I ordered a water and waited for all my friends to show up.

I wheeled myself into the Slice looking around to see if anyone else was here. I spotted Violet and waved before wheeling myself over to her and said, "Hey, am I early or late?"

I smile and check my wristwatch. "5:50. You are early." I say, smiling. I move a chair for him so he could roll his wheelchair under the table.

I smile. "Hey!" I motioned for the seat next to me. "Glad you could make it. It's gonna be awesome!" At least, I hope I would be. "I've invited everyone we know." I told Sammie.

I walked into the Slice, breathing hard. My parents had just called, my REAL parents. They told me that they wanted to meet up soon and that California might be coming to Canterwood also. I told them that I was going to hang out with my friends and I hung up quickly. I could not believe this. My prefect twin sister might be coming to one of the few places that I loved. And too top it off my parents keep pushing me to meet up with them. Well after one disastrous first meetings with them, that was the last thing I wanted to do.
I spotted my friends and walked over to them. Hey guys. I said to them, sliding into the booth after Sammie. My voice was hoarse and it cracked at the end. Was I the only one who noticed it?

My eyes widen at the text. I put my phone away and shot her a "we'll talk about this later." Look. I checked my watch. "I invited Kayla, Jake, and Sammie's roommate, Kate. If they don't show up in 10 minutes, We're ordering. What are you guys thinking about eating." I glance at the menu, not wanting to eat, but knowing it was impolite to not eat. Oh well, I'd just vomit it up later, I thought. "I'll probably take the 100 calorie house salad." I said, not realizing I was chewing on my necklace. When had I developed that habit?
