I walk into the stables, towing Storm, who was about to fall asleep again. I find my stall, that already has his name plate on it. I let him loose, and he grabs a mouthful of hay from the blue hay net I got him. I watch him doze off, and adjust my lavender leather jacket over a simple white t-shirt. I had added a couple chunky necklaces and was wearing dark blue skinny jeans with tall leather zip up boots. I hear a voice behind me, and turn. |

  Walking into the stables, I was glad to find it basically empty, with only a few other riders inside. I headed straight towards Memory's stall; I was planning to maybe either go for a trail ride or just let her out in the pasture. Heading down the aisle, I noticed a girl I had never seen before. Hi. I said, smiling at the new girl. I pushing up my sunglasses to the top of my head and adjusted the grip I held on Memory's halter rope. I'm Carmel. I told her.

I turn and see a pretty girl with a beautiful horse. I smile as she introduces herself. "Hi, I'm Jen.Your horse is beautiful." I say.

My grin grew as she introduced herself and complimented Memory. Oh thanks! I said, running my fingers through Memory's mane. Yours too. What breed is he? I asked her.

I let out a gentle laugh at what Jen said about her horse. Yep. Memory is a Arabian also, though it seems like every time I look at her she is napping. I joked.

I smile. "So, how long have you been at Canterwood?" I ask. Storm's gentle snoring behind was one of the many sounds of the large barn.

I nodded at what she said. Yep same with me. I'm from a small town in California and my stable was most likely less than half the size of Canterwood. I explained with a small laugh.

I smiled. I love it there so much. I gushed to her. I'm still not used to seeing snow here; I'd have never seen it before I came to Canterwood. I confessed to her, somewhat embarrassed.
