   I walked into 'The Slice', craving something good to eat and spending some quality time with my buds. I pulled out my phone and texted Carmel and Sammie. [/font] want to get pizza?[/font]

Carmel was the first person that I had met here, and she had been really nice and welcoming. Sammie was my room mate, and also one of my good friends. I hadn't seen them in a while because of the massive amount of homework that I had, but that's what the weekend was for, right?

I stood in front of my full length mirror, brushing out my long dark brown hair when I heard my phone chime. I reached for it, which was on the desk next to me. I scanned the text and shot back to Kate Sure! Give me 10mins
[/b] I quickly changed my yoga pants and old tee to something more suitable for a dinner with the girls. Grabbing some bobby pins, I pulled my unruly hair into a half up half down. I checked my phone clock; I got three more minutes till I had to make the two minute walk to the Slice. Inspecting my refection, the next-to-none makeup I had applied a few hours ago still look decent. On my way out of my dorm, I grabbed my purse, phone, ID, and lip gloss. I reached the Slice quickly. Pulling the glass door open, I spotted Kate and took a seat next to her. Hey K! I said, grinning.[/color][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] tagged;; Kate and Sammie

  This is the post. This is the post. This is the post. This is the post. This is the post. Finally! Done! I gather up my finished homework, duo-tangs of all sizes and colours bunched up and stuffed into my big Prada bookbag. I hear my phone buzz and scroll through a few texts. I read Kate's and smile, replying. Sure! Be there in 10-15 I look down at my outfit. Worn jeans, ripped socks and a loose white T shirt. I sigh, opening my closet and scrolling through all of my choices. I finally settle on a cute red keyhole top and black skinny jeans, with brown designer boots and a french braid. I put the clothes on, brush and braid my hair, and then slip my feet into the boots, which have a small heel- making me at least 5,1.
I leave Orchard, the warm air of campus overcoming me. I smile at some of my friends and grin at some of the guys who nod at me. I see The Slice in the distance, but I don't walk desperately fast. I take the time to enjoy the beautiful campus- my home.I remember when I was the scared new girl. The next thing I know, I'm at the doors of the Slice, a tall, cute guy opening it for me. I think about Jacob, my amazing boyfriend, though. Once I'm in the Slice, I take in the cute look- checkered tablecloths, metal walls and cute, old-timey music playing softly in the background. I spot Carmel and Kate and smile, waving before walking over to them and taking a seat.Hey guys! I say brightly, twisting a strand of hair around my finger.

I groaned at the two of them talking, putting my head in my hands. Please don't talk about school! I pleaded with them. Can we just have a night to chillax for once? I rubbed at my eyes, trying to get my mind off of my own huge pile of homework that I was planning on attacking later.
