I've stopped looking for the critics, cuz they're everywhere
**************** I walk into the arena with Storm, finally ready to jump. I led him to the mounting block and hopped on him. I stroked his mane as I adjusted my helmet placed carefully on top of my french braid. I squeezed Storm and started a steady collected trot. I gave him a half halt through my gloved fingers to make sure he was listening to me. I nudged him and we silently moved around the large outdoor dirt ring. I looked up when the gate opened. they don't like my jeans- they don't get my hair Lyrics-- Perfect|Pink Word count-- ? Credits-- Kayla Storm

My horse's metallic coat shone in the sun light. I loved the color. Duchess was a liver-chestnut, a 16h TB mare. I loved the white stripe that started from the top of her head and almost into her nostril. "You ready girl?" I whispered, before opening the gate and spotting Jenny. "Hey!" :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Notes: none Outfit: Mood: Happy Lyrics: If you ever come back* The SCRIPT Credits: Kayla Storm @ Canterwood Crest

I smiled at her. "Hey!" I said, adjusting my helmet cover. It was a cool one that I only wore in practices, with the fun stripes and patterns. I move Storm across the arena, his long legs extending. I stopped next to Kayla. "Your horse is beautiful." I say, holding Storm's reins. Most people didn't keep their horse's heads that high, but I had to to keep the reins tight so he wouldn't fall asleep. Storm blinked once, and lowered his head. "No..." i said, giving him a slight tug.

I grinned. "Thanks, I love your too." I watched as Jenny handled Storm's attention span. "You two are so in tune. I love that. It took me and Duchess a LONG time to get there, and we still don't get it right sometimes." I patted my horse and mounted. I always mounted with short reins, because my horse tended to swing her hindquarters as I mounted. It had caused a few 'falls', but by now, Duchess only shifted her weight. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Notes: none Outfit: Mood: Happy Lyrics: If you ever come back* The SCRIPT Credits: Kayla Storm @ Canterwood Crest

I smiled. "My parents own a small ranch in Maine. Storm was born there.. I trained him since he was a baby." I say, patting my 5 year old gelding. Storm slightly moved into my touch, his warm brown eye looking up at me. "Ready to jump boy?" I say, hopping off of him. I move to the 5 jumps in the arena and set them from 2'9 to 3'6. I had warmed up before hand. I walked back to Storm, who hadn't moved a muscle.

As Jenny set the jumps, I warmed Duchess up. We'd already done a few exercises in the outdoor arena, so after a few laps of canter we were ready to jump as well. "Care if we join your jumping jamboree?" I asked, laughing. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Notes: none Outfit: Mood: Happy Lyrics: If you ever come back* The SCRIPT Credits: Kayla Storm @ Canterwood Crest

I laughed with her. "Of course." I say, walking Storm to the mounting block. "Wanna critique each other?" I ask, gathering my reins. Storm eyed the jumps, and i heard him tense. He was ready.

I gave a mock evil laugh. "Yes, but you have to remember, my pretty. I'm a tough one to get by, so you and horsey should watch your backs!" :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Notes: none Outfit: Mood: Happy Lyrics: If you ever come back* The SCRIPT Credits: Kayla Storm @ Canterwood Crest
