I walked through the doors to the bowling alley, letting the strange scent of shoe polisher and greesey food fill my nose. Groups of students and their friends threw the 500 ton ball down a slick lane, laughing and pointing as the one bowling failed. Such a pointless game, yet I found that it was quite amusing when people throw it down the gutter.

I sighed when I noticed I was the only person alone in the room. It was sort of sad when I thought about it. Of course, my last resort was gazing around the building looking for some people I knew, and would actually talk to.

I whipped around when a voice said, "Hey, mind if I join you?"

I looked over my shoulder to see Heather standing behind me. Wow, I haven't seen her in forever. Guess I could take this as a chance to catch up with her. Though, I have to admit, I was suprised at her offer. Her title at the school was "Queen Bee", and she usually had quite the sting. Maybe something about her changed. I think that's good.

"Uh, no! Not at all," I answered, smiling at her. "Wanna go get our shoes?"

I smiled at Sierra and nodded. Definetly, and it's nice to see you again. I turned and started toward the shoes. I hopped that tonight I could show Sierra the new me. I had changed and was now nice. I wanted to becoem better frieds with Sierra, so I figured this was the place to start.
