I looked at Sammie with a confused face. "I'm just trying to be nice to you since your new or not." I took a piece of my pizza and bit into it."Are just trying to do that you don't know that I'm the Headmitress daughter." I smiled at her.

I winced. "I saw when you came back, I thought you probably wanted to claim your seat." I shrugged. I continued to munch on my pizza. I stared at Kate seeing she beginning to get uncomfortable. "Sorry Kate." I looked at my pizza.

"I'll get one slice of mozzerella pizza with tomatoes and basil." I ordered, breaking the awkward silence. I watched the waitress write down the order and waited for the others to say what they wanted. Stephanie and Sammie had made up, I guess, but there was still tension in the air. Rain started falling from the sky in thick sheets.

I looked at my nails too."MY mom said when I come back home for fall break,where going to this expensive nail salon for my nails,hair and other stuff. I just want to practice at my old stable." "I just starting leasing Rye. I'm going to hack tonight." I said, recalling the horse I had just started leasing. A lot of people didn't like Rye, and for good reasons. He tried to bite and/or kick anyone who stepped in his space bubble. Even though sometimes he could be a jerk (he had bucked with me on him more than once), he could also be sweet. Talking about Rye was something new. Sammie and Violet didn't know yet, and I knew that talking about horses was something everyone could agree on. Hopefully, things opulent get so intense over horses.

I smiled at Kate. "Rye? Omigod, I have to meet him!" I say and grin crookedly. Then, I turn to Stephanie. "I just ordered.." and raised an eyebrow. I smiled politely at the waitress and she smiled back. "be back in a sec." she said. I turned back to Kate. "tell me more about Rye!" I say excitedly.
