"Slow down there buddy." I couldn't help laughing as Harley practically dragged me to the front of the barn. Sammie was bringing Midnight and they were gonna be field mates again. After marching into Mr. Connor's office and demanding their old paddock back, he just laughed and nodded. Violet could barley contain her excitement when she saw Sam and Middie come around the corner. Harley stared, his ears up,, and let out a huge whinnie, his enetire body trembling.

I was struggling too hard to hold my gigantic, glistening black horse back from escaping my grasp on the most-likely-not-strong-enough lead rope that was attached to his green halter. I smiled warily at Violet- it would be more genuine but my hands were really starting to burn. I gave way, and ran down the aisle, Midnight speeding alongside me. I laughed breathlessly as the two horses greeted each other.

I quickly grabbed Midnight's halter, helping Sammie steady him. Once he was settled, I led Harley up t the gate. After letting him go, I motioned for Sammie to follow. Harley huffed and pounded his hoof. He was ready to play.
