I held Duchess firmly between my hands, and asked her for a collected Canter. She fought for more rein, a bad habit I had been working on. "No, Duchie." I said, firmly but softly. "Whoa." Duchess snorted but stopped begging for more speed. We didn't jump at that moment, but kept on cantering. I wanted her to be calm, since she had started getting to exited when the jumps were set higher. After about half an hour, I halted her in the middle of the arena. "Good girl!" I said, patting her. I walked her outside, and dismounted. "HEY KAYLA!!!!" I heard me name being screamed and feet running towards me. Before I could even turn to look, someone had given me a huge bear hug. NOTES: I AM BACK

I laughed at Sammie. But when she gave me a crooked sort of smile, I knew something was up. I racked my brain, trying to remeber if I had forgotten a huge fight we had or something. Try to be upbeat. I told myself. Act like nothings wrong... because I seriously don't know what it is. I gave a thumbs up. "Great! SO happy to be back. I can't BELIEVE it's been so long! Living without my friends is totally impossible!" NOTES: I AM BACK

I pulled Silver out of her stall already ready. I looked at my outfit twice again. I was wearing a red short sleeve,black breeches,and white breeches. I strapped my helmet on and touched my braided ponytail,my roommate helped me with. I squeezed my legs against Silver's sides. Since she was from Japan,she was always obedient. I rode into one of the arena's and saw Sammie with someone. I waved. "Hey Sammie who's that?" I smiled coolly. Since Sammie and I were friends we started hanging out together.

Kayla was acting totally fine, so I decided nothing was wrong. "I know, right? I've missed you guys soso much." I said, tossing my hair and smiling brightly. When Stephanie came up next to me, I glanced at her. "This is Kayla, Steph. We were friends last semester."

I looked her up and down. I grinned."Cool,can we be friends?" I smiled at Kayla. I noticed Silver's head was down. I pulled on the reins and kept her head up.

I raised my eyebrow at Stephanie's bad social skills. I tossed my hair. Then, I looked at Kayla. "Come on Kayla, let's catch up over hot cocoa." I said brightly, smiling.

I raised my eyebrows at *Stephanie*. No joke, but this girl had zero social skills. "Ummm.... sure we can be friends." I said, smiling. I didn't really judge her for the "so can we be friends" thing. I wanted to get to know her first but, it was actully kinda cool that she could just say it like that. I would freak. "Yeah, Sam. Nothing beats CCA hot-chocolate. I think I missed that more than you guys!" I teased, flipping my hair behind my shoulder. "Speaking of which, have you seen Carm?" Carmel was like, my BFF since I arrived on my first day. I grinned. "Totally! You have no idea what a craving I have now. You are so infectious!" I laughed, teasing Sammie while walking to the shop. "It is soooo cool to be back." I said, with a smile. I glanced back at Stephanie. "Hey, Steph, we really should hang out sometime. Sorry I'm abandoning you right now, but I haven't seen Sammie for such a long time." I paused, catching a breathe. "But I'll get your number later and we could organize something!" I grinned, turned back to Sammie, and knew that the next step I took would officially put me back into Canter wood. NOTES: I AM BACK
