I walked into the media center wearing this: www.polyvore.com/fall_trend_lace/set?id=59319704&lid=1913509#stream_box Once I found the Glee Club room. I found it empty. I smirked. I walked in and sang a soft-song out loud. I smoothed my voice and brought it a little higher. I ended and I knew I had the best singing voice in school since I competed into beauty pageants. I walked up on the stage and let the lights shine on me. I knew I was going to be back in the light again. I looked up when someone entered. |

I walked inside a Glee Club room,when I heard someones voice. I looked on the stage and found Stephanie. I knew she could sing in her beauty pageants,but not this GOOD! I ran up to Stephanie and hugged her. "Your voice is awesome,you should definitely try out!" I smiled at her and then kissed her on the cheek.

I looked up to see Justin. He grabbed me into a hug and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I cocked my head and kissed him back. I looked into his hazel-blue eyes. I never noticed before that they were all different shades of blue. I smiled at him and stepped back when someone came in.

I turned seeing Victoria. I nodded. "Maybe we can do d duet or maybe not." I smiled knowing I was the lead last year and this year I was a star. I leaned into Justin with a satisfied smile.

I walked into the Glee Club room, ready for my audition. I had been practicing for a while. I had been in a couple of musicals, and was even a lead in one of them. I was nervous, but excited. I wanted to be a part of the Glee Club, and I especially wanted a lead. When I walked into the Media Center I saw Victoria, Stephanie, and another guy. I heard Victoria singing. She seemed pretty good. I needed to warm up too, but I didn't want to do it in front of others. I thought about it, but then someone near the stage called my name. "Hey Kate!"

" hey Kate ! " I yelled to her from across the auditorium . I waved at her smiling . I tucked a beautiful brown lock of my hair behnd my ear and took a sip from my water bottle. I walk over to Kate . " Remember me from the other day ? " I asked with a slight grin on my face .

I walked into the Glee Club room. I had an amazing voice, and I knew I could beat everyone at the tryouts. I saw Kate, and smiled. I was so glad she was there. I waved to her. "Hey!" I said, tossing my bright blond ponytail. I was wearing a cute pair of light wash, shredded skinny jeans and a purple tank top, with hot pink converse covered in doodles from all of my friends back in New York City. My platinum blond hair was tied neatly into an uber-high ponytail and my makeup was flawless. Casual, yet adorable. I had chosen to sing a song by my idol, Taylor Swift, called Our Song. It was my best song- it flaunted my angelic voice.

I smiled, saying hi to everyone. Everyone started to warm up, so I decided that I should too. I started with some simple warm ups, making sure that was my voice was properly warmed up. I tried not to listen to everyone else singing. It would only make me nervous. I started to sing. I didn't know what song to choose, so I had decided on a song from West Side Story. We were only allowed to do a couple of lines of the song, so I had chosen "I Feel Pretty". It was the right vocal range for my voice, and the lines that I chose were perfect. I smiled, starting to sing. I knew I had a pretty voice, I had been told so before, but I never flaunted it. In fact, nobody at Canterwood Crest had ever even heard me sing. This would be the first time. I still wanted to try out for the Glee Club. It would be fun! I kept singing, wondering when the instructor would come in so we could audition.

Sammie knew no one had heard her sing before, but she wasn't the least bit nervous. She had lot's of experience and she knew she had a nice voice. So she started singing, hitting all of the notes, on the perfect key. She knew the lyrics off by heart, for as long as she can remember, and she knew it sounded good when she sang it. I was confident with my song choice , Stay by Miley cyrus. It was a hard song to sing but I knew how to sing it amazingly . I used to go to take singing lessons and enter in vocal competitions befor I came to CCA , and I always chose Miley`s songs . " Hey , Sammie . " I said looking up from my sheet of music.  I heard Steph start to sing a Zendaya song. I shook my head, almost every star starts to sing and sometimes their terrible and its all auto tuned. As I watched her sing I noticed the heels she was wearing , whoa those where tall for a 8th grader . In the stage light you could see every single little friz on her head. Wow, now I was glad I had a bun ! |

I was the last one to audition, which only made me a little nervous. I smiled, walking onto the stage. The lights were bright, and I looked at the back of the room, taking deep breaths to calm myself. I started to sing, my voice filling the auditorium. I felt confident, and my voice was strong and unwavering. I finished the audition and went back to the seats, where I sat down next to the other girls.
