I s moothed on green-apple from lip-smackers.I walked into the Slice smelling the fresh baked bread-sticks and new baked pizzas. I loved the smell. I could feel the heat of the food come to my face. I saw a waitress bring over a large meaty pizza over to a party table. I looked at the pizza starving. They looked at me motioning for me to sit with them. I ignored them. I could see my reflection on the glass. I looked away and saw a cute guy. I was over guys, but this one was quiet than most guys I saw. I looked at my outfit. I wore a glitzy-black designer jacket with a cursive fancy V on it. I wore skinny-blue jeans and peep-toe white ballet-flats. I looked at my PINK! purple shirt with a star in the middle. I had my hair in a pretty braid on my shoulder. I walked up to the guy. "Hey do...you...mind if I..sit here?" I said mumbling to him. I got nervous a little. I never saw this guy before and was busy. I looked down at the floor, twisting my fingers together. I signed and finally looked into the guys eyes. I could feel his eyes melt into mine. I drifted my eyes away from his.

Occ; Vanessa, for future reference, can you please PM me first before setting up a thread? It's kinda random logging on and seeing a thread for my character that I had no idea was going to happen, especially with the last sentence about him being uncharacteristic for Nolan's personality. I'm not mad or anything, I just like to know things ahead of time =] I'll respond to this tomorrow. - Cassie

For a skinny kid, Nolan certainly had a lot of food on the table. Crumpled napkins were everywhere, along with two cups of soda and what looked like only three pieces of pizza left sitting stacked on top of one another. His eyes were buried in a photography book, and like always, he was trying to remain invisible to the human eye with his hood pulled over his messy hair. The book was talking about the art of black and white, as well as lens and but Nolan was finding it hard to concentrate at that very moment. His mind kept on wander back to the following day when he had met Chloe Green and the strange event of her talking to him.
'Stop it, Nolan, she was just being nice,' he told himself now, already feeling his lips start to take the form of a scowl. A small sigh escaped him and he quickly tried to return to the act of reading about photography. Underneath him on the ground, his foot pushed his skateboard back and forth out of a habit. Many times now, he wasn't even aware that he did it when he tried to concentrate on something, it sort of just happened. His guy friends, what little he had, made fun of him for it from time to time, or well, so did the whole rest of the school. Nolan didn't care so much though, he was certain that he wasn't the only one with a habit like this. Maybe not skateboard related but something else.
He wondered how Bandit was doing today, probably the same old though. Nothing was ever new with his horse other than how many things she had decided to steal today. It wouldn't be long before he was probably going to have to take a bus out to the tack shop and grab a toy or something for her. That or he could do the old fashion thing of just tying an empty milk gallon to a string in the stall. She had destroyed countless milk gallons. Maybe he could ask Chloe about it, wait, no, there he went again. He wasn't going to ask Chloe anything, she probably forgotten him already. It's not like he didn't try and blend into the background.
In fact, Nolan had been so wrapped up in his thoughts as he stared blankly at his photography book that he didn't even realize that he had company all of the sudden until a quiet voice broke his thoughts. Brown eyes glanced up for a split second and then looked away, and then he repeated the motion once more but glanced away again, not able to hold a gaze. He stared at his book perplexedly now, confused. Why was it that girls were all of the sudden starting to notice him? He wasn't doing anything important, he didn't even have Bandit here this time to call the attention, he was just sitting there.
During this thought process, Nolan had been twisting a paper napkin in his hands. It wasn't until it ripped entirely in two did he remotely snap out of it, "Um....sure," he managed now, uncertain as to what kind of company he could remotely over. He glanced at the table again now, almost having a spazz attack when he realized that his stuff took over the whole thing. Carefully, he leaned forward and pulled everything towards and then nodded to the seat across from him now. Never once did Nolan stop pushing his skateboard.
I nodded at him. "Thanks." I said down. I heard something rolling on the floor. I looked down and saw Nolan's skateboard. I heard my stomach grumbling soundly. I knew no one heard it. I starved for some food. I looked at menu and decided about what I should order. I shifted in my seat. Me and Nolan weren't making good conversation,so I decided not to make one. I looked at Nolan and went back to the menu. I heard someone clear their throat. I put down the menu and looked up to see a waitress. "I'll have a grilled chicken salad and a small meaty pizza." I said. The waitress nodded and went off to fetch my order. I crossed my ankles and listened to the music in the background.
