Charlie scrolled through the 'gossip blog' on her tablet while lounging by the indoor pool, taking up sun from the skylight through the roof. She was half relieved she wasn't in it, there was some pretty nasty stuff in there. Charlie sighed, and put the tablet back in her pool bag. Leaning back, a voice that she vaguely recognized made her open her eyes. "Is this seat taken?" Charlie took off her sunglasses. Sammie, co- queen bee and Rose's friend, gaaed down at her. "Um, sure. Sammie, right?" She said, sitting up. She self conciously looked at Sammie's top of the line bathing suit and looked down at a her own floral bikini. Charlie smiled, and brushed back her long hair.

people stared as she walked by, bikini-clad and beyond hot. sammie had come to the indoor pool to lounge and maybe meet a few people she hadn't seen in a while. guys whistled at her as she passed, girls waved with envy in their eyes. seeing dark-haired charlie hall, sammie was a little surprised. she hadn't seen the girl in quite a while. she tossed her soft, platinum blond hair; which was loose and gorgeous around her shoulders, and asked if the seat was taken. there was a hint of a smile on her perfect face as she peered down at the girl.

Charlie smiled. "Nope." She said, clearing off her stuff on the other chair so the most popular girl in the school could sit next to her. Charlie awkwardly motioned to her tablet. "Some gossip blog, right?" she said. She honestly didn't think there was anything super bad baout the blonde girl. "Isn't this like, the 10th one?" She said, laying back in her chair.

sammie laughed musically at what she said, adjusting the hem of her strappy white bikini. it showed off her flat, toned and tan stomach and her thin frame. she didn't want to think about the gossip blog. 'probably.' she turned to charlie and raised an eyebrow, becoming serious. ' but don't underestimate it. it really hurt my best friend.' she said sharply, but then smiled again. 'so where have you been?'

Charlie nodded, and put on her sunglasses, then turned to Sammie. "I was sick for a couple weeks, then I had to fly home for,er, family buisness." Truth was, her mom called her home for her to make a sculpture to sell, because her dad had lost some money and needed a boost for the re-election campaign. "It looks like you've been doing well." Charlie laughed, looking at Sammie's many admirers. "How's Rose?" CHarlie had never really talked to the other trio member, Heather. She didn't seem like she was here most of the time, anyway.

sammie nodded, though her lie was unconvincing. though sammie understood, so she wouldn't say anything. grinning at her next remark, sammie tilted her head back and laughed. 'rose has been... good.' she said finally, wanting to change the subject. 'are you disappointed that school's gonna start up again?'
