  I stepped out of my parents white SUV. I toke a long gaze at the beautiful campus, Wow, Lace this campus looks great. Said my dad, also looking around at the amazing landscaping. My mother stepped out of the passenger side, carrying a couple suitcases. Can you two please come grab some bags? Said my mother, grinning at us. I turned around on my heel, and grabbed my duffel bag and a suitcase from the trunk. The movers would be here soon with some more of my stuff.
My parents and I walked down the long halls of Winchester to room nine. I had been assigned that room along with a girl named Kimber Auralee. I was nervous to see how she was, if she was nice, mean, bratty. But I hoped she would be decent. I shoved my hands in my pocket, grasping the cold silver key in my finger tips. I pulled it out and unlocked the door, I dumped my bags on the bed farthest away from the door, deciding that it would be my bed. Followed by my parents the movers had come, hauling dozens of boxes marked, Decorations, Clothes and a bunch more. I watched as the movers stacked all the boxes in neat little piles. In the corner of my eye I saw a figure standing at the doorway. She was about my age so I figured it was Kimber.  |

i stood in the doorway of my new dorm. my half of the room was already decorated, i'd snuck in like, three hot football players to do everything for me. it looked amazing, so kimber. probs better than anyone in winchester. i strutted in, glancing at my nouveau roommate. she was kinda pretty, more cute, not pretty. she had long brown hair and big features. she just stared at me. i mean, i know i was hot, but was i that hot. yep. i sat gracefully on my bed and looked at her. 'quit staring at me like that, you're creeping me out.' i said, raising an eyebrow questioningly. then, i smiled a bit. 'name?' i asked flatly.

I threw a wish in the well, don`t ask me I`ll never tell I turned looking back at my hands. Sorry I murmured. I sighed, playing with my Pandora bracelet I had gotten yesterday from my sister. Name? she asked flatly. Lacey Hill I replied, minus the bubbliness my voice usually had. This girl seemed a little rude, but what did I know? She could turn out to be some perfect roomie. And yours? I asked already knowing the answer. But didn't want her to think I was "creepy" again. |

the girl seemed harmless enough, so i smiled my bright and beautiful smile. 'kimber. didn't it say that on the dorm assignments?' i said, quite a bit less mean this time. crossing my legs, i turned to look at her. 'have anything else you have to unpack?' i asked. i wouldn't mind helping her, i hadn't gotten to do my own room so it'd be fun to decorate hers together. i'd make it amazing- i had serious style.

I smiled. "Ya, I have a couple boxes of decorations, and most of my clothes are still in their boxes." I said gesturing to the pile of boxes beside my bed. I frowned a little, this is the worst part of moving somewhere new, all the unpacking. It totes sucked and I couldn't wait to get it all done. And maybe me and Kimber could watch a movie later? It would be nice, some time to relax and unwind.

bouncing off of my bed, i danced over to the remaining boxes to see what she had. normal clothes, not expensive or super trendy like mine, but not too bad. and good decor, as well, def not as amazing as mine but i could work with it. grabbing a box full of bedding, lighting and wall stickers and placing it on my bed, i smiled at her. 'let's get started!' i said.

Kimber went over to one of my boxes with some pieces of decor in it. "Let's get started!" She said. I grinned. I found a pair of scissors that I had used to open various boxes, I walked over to Kimber's bed and sliced open the box, exposing all the decorations. "Ok!" i said in a cheerfull tone. I studied its contents, and walked over and grabbed the two other boxes marked "decorations". And brought it over to her bed and cut it open as well. Occ: sorry this post is really bad  |

i pulled a purple lamp out of the box and eyed her bedside table. 'i'm gonna put that there, kay?' i asked flatly, it was so going there, weather she liked it or not. i was not gonna let my roommate have an ugly dorm. i cocked my hip and waited boredly for her to respond.

Ya sure, it`ll look nice there. I said glancing over at my bedside table, ya it looked like a good spot to put it. My phone buzzed a few times in my pocket, it was probably some of my friends from home, I chose to ignore them and focus on my new dorm. Outfit♥ link here

i danced to the table and placed the lamp in the perfect spot to make it look anything but tacky. i went back to the box and shuffled easily through her decor, contemplating where to put what. i picked out a bag of posters and turned to the big empty wall. 'i'll put these up there.' i told her, gesturing to the big purple wall without looking away.

Kimber placed the lamp on my nightstand, and she was right it looked good there. She also grabbed some of my posters, "I'll put these up here." She said, keeping her gaze fixated on the purple wall. "Kay." I said, reaching down and pulling out my purple picture frames. They held pictures of Rain and I, most of them of us jumping. "Do think these would look good over on my nightstand?" I asked, eyeing the nightstand.

i nodded, smiling. 'those are super pretty. they'd look good near the lamp.' i told her as i stood on my tippy-toes to place the posters and squish them to the wall in the exact right spots. next, i danced over to the box and grabbed some purple heart-shaped wall stickers. i decided they'd look good next to the closet, so i turned to her and pointed. 'over there?'

"Ya sure." I said. She seemed really good at decorating. I glanced at her side of the room, it was very nice and well put together. I reached in a box again, this time pulling out an alarm clock. I set it on my nightstand, hoping that Kimber would think that it looked nice there.
