When Mr. Conner and I arrived in the nurses office, we stood over Carmel for a lonv timr before she woke up. When shw finnaly woke up, she still seemed out of it. Hey there. She muttered to us. I traded a glance with Mr. Conner and looked at Carmel. Carmel, how are you feeling? And there is no need to worry about Memory, I took care of both horses and Memory is A-Ok. But what about you?

I took a deep breath and licked my lips. Im feeling okayish. My eyes zeroed in on the glass of water that was on the table next to me. Can you hand me that water please?

Of course. I reached over to the glass of water and handed it to Carmel. I watched as she took teh cup.

SMASH! The cup slid right through my hand and crashed on the floor. OMG Im so sorry. I whispered.

Carmel accidently dropped the cup. She looked so embarassed. i sat down on her left side a put an arm around her shoulder. It's ok. Your still recovering. You don't have to have perfect motor skills after being bitten by a snake. I looked at her and smiled.

I smiled at her. Thanks Heather. Hey maybe I'll get superhuman strengh! Spider Man was bitten by a spider, afterall.

I laughed at what Carmel said. She was already back to her fun self. I turned to the nurse. How long will she be here? The nurse looked at me and smiled. She can go back to her dorm tomorrow morning, but she would have to come everyonther day for a check-up. I grinned at Carmel and nudged her. You'll be home soon!
