As I was getting ready to shower, I decided to text Carmel and ask if she wanted to trail ride. So I put my shower stuff away, and pulled out my phone,"Hey. Do u wanna trail ride?" As I was wating for a text back, I got ready for the stable. I slid my thin legs into black skinny jeans and threw on a tight, aqua blue Abercombie V-neck. To top off my outfit, I pulled on brand new paddock boots that looked amazing with my black and blue clothes. Then I got my brush, make-up remover, and make-up out of my sink drawer. I sat down and started with my hair, combing it until it felt like silk, then pulling it back into a loose french braid. After I had all my make-up removed, I applied light blue eyshadow, black eyeliner, and some mascara. I found my favorite lip gloss and put some on. I sat down on my couch and turned on MTV while I waited for an answer to my text.

Hey do you want to trail ride? A text! I abandon where i was watching TV to see who it was from. Heather. I typed back quickly. Of course! B there soon ~Carmel I threw on some riding clothes and hurried out of my dorm. My roommate still hasn't made an appearance. Practically throwing the door open, i hurried into the stable, looking for Heather. I wanted to get on the Trails ASAP! I heard my message tone and looked at my Black Berry, "Of course! B there soon ~Carmel" "Kool! B right there!" I texted back as I walked slash ran to the stables. When I got there, I didn't see Carmel yet so I went to get Aristocrat ready for the trails.
Lucky for me, the cross ties in front of my stall were open so I didn't have to find any. I grabbed Aristocrat's halter and lead and put him in the cross ties. As soon as I had finished his grooming, I went to the tack room to get his things. After I had his gear, I went back to his stall and put the saddle pad on his back, then the saddle. I patted his shoulder and got ready to tighten the girth. After that was done, I slipped his bridle on and grabbed my helmet. I walked Aristocrat to the out side arena and mounted. Since I didn't see Carmel yet, I pulled out my phone and texted her, "C u @ outside arena. B ready 4 a awesome trail ride! :^)" Then I rode Aristocrat into the arena and started to warm him up.

Kool! B right there Heather. I grinned as i raced to Memory's stall by the time i got there, there was another text from Heather. C u @ outside arena. B ready 4 a awesome trail ride! :^) I quickly wrote back C u soon. Cant wait! I took Memory to an empty pair of cross ties in the back and began to tack her up. Finishing quickly I hopped on her back and took her to the arena, pleased to see Heather already there. Are you ready? I called out to her.

I heard someone call ,"Are you ready?" I turned Aristcrat around and saw it was Carmel. "Def!" I said and cantered over. As we walked to the trails, I asked Carmel ,"Which trail do you want to take?"

"Which trail do you want to take?" Heather asked me. I looked at our choices. "That one, it looks like it isnt really used a lot. I pointed towards it. It was a quiet little trail that went through the trees. What do you think?

I looked toward where Carmel pointed. It was an over-grown trail that looked rarley used. I smiled. A adventure trail, who knows where it could lead to! "Def. I looks spooky, just like the mood around campus."

"What do you mean?" I looked at Carmel and laughed, "The Halloween spirit!" I said as we rode our horses toward the trail, "You can lead." I said gesturing with my hand.

"The Halloween spirit!" I laughed. "You can lead." I grinned in thanks, directing Memory to walk in front of her. So how are you doing? I almost smacked myself. It was such a stupid small-talk question, right after "Hows the weather?"

I pulled his head down and threw my wieght against his neck. Lucky for me, my 95lbs was enough to put him on all fours.

"Sure, it doesn't look to deep so lets go!" I smiled, but my breath caught in my throat as I watched with horror as Aristocrat begun to rear. Lucky though, Heather weighed enough to force him down. That was my greatest fear. I was afraid that Memory might do that; I didnt weigh close enough to bring her down. You okay? I asked Heather when Aristocrat had calmed down.
